ACCOMMODATION
Guests can choose between 11 rooms, laid out across three separate buildings which are all within walking distance from each other. All accommodation bookings include access to Beskuitfontein Trails – our marked hiking, running, mountain bike and 4×4 trails on the farm of varying distances.
VIEW ROOMS (UITSIG KAMERS)
This building was renovated from historic farm worker quarters into four private rooms – each with its own entrance, double bed, en suite bathroom, kitchenette and stoep looking out over the Karoo veld. These rooms are equipped for self-catering.
These four rooms share a communal braai area.
SCHOOLHOUSE ROOMS (SKOOL KAMERS)
This building was renovated from a historic farm school into three private rooms – each with its own entrance, en suite bathroom, kitchenette and undercover stoep looking out over the Karoo veld. These rooms are equipped for self-catering. Two of the rooms has a double bed, and one of these rooms has two single beds.
These three rooms share a communal braai area.
MAIN HOUSE ROOMS (HOOFHUIS)
The Main House is the original farmhouse building erected in the early 1900s. Renovations were done, and new additions were added in 1991 to give it the arch design it has today. Two family room options are located inside the Main House – each with two double beds sharing a private en suite bathroom. In addition, a Bachelor Flat with a double bed is also located at the Main House.
The Main House rooms share a communal lounge, dining room and braai area. Guests can make use of the communal braai area, but Main House rooms are not equipped for self-catering.
The old school farm dam where guests can cool off in summer months is also located at the Main House.
MEALS
braai
Braai-packs dinners with farm-reared Karoo lamb chops, boerewors, traditional South African “braai-broodjies”, salads and “koeksisters” are also available to order – these need to be ordered one day in advance. Included is a bag of wood, fire-starters and braai – and guests just need to light the fire and braai their own meat.
Breakfast
Continental breakfast boxes are available to be enjoyed in your room or take with you on the road the next morning – these are a guest favourite for their convenience!
